Leading business conglomerate, CH-RYDERGROUP, has formalised a long-term partnership with the Buzzstop Boys, a fast-growing volunteer organisation known for its hands-on community clean-up and public safety campaigns.

The agreement was sealed through a memorandum of understanding (MOU), marking a significant investment in grassroots environmental action across the country.

Under the partnership, CH-RYDERGROUP will provide both material and financial support to help the Buzzstop Boys expand their impact.

The package includes protective gear for volunteers, GHS 30,000 in direct funding, and a commitment to supply VietStar/Ohemaa rice for every community clean-up activity organised by the group.

According to CH-RYDERGROUP, the collaboration is designed to go beyond traditional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) gestures.

Speaking at a briefing ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of the company, Christian Zen Amoh, stressed that the initiative is “not CSR for the cameras,” but a deliberate effort to empower the young volunteers who “wake up and do the work many overlook.”

The Buzzstop Boys have gained nationwide recognition for mobilising young people and transforming public spaces through regular clean-up exercises.

Their efforts have also helped raise awareness about sanitation, community ownership, and environmental responsibility.

CH-RYDERGROUP says it is proud to join forces with a group whose impact continues to inspire communities across Ghana. “A cleaner Ghana is everybody’s responsibility,” the company noted, reaffirming its commitment to supporting sustainable, community-driven initiatives.

The partnership is expected to strengthen the Buzzstop Boys’ capacity, broaden the reach of their projects, and encourage more institutions to back homegrown environmental movements working to make Ghana cleaner and safer for all.
