Job Title: International Trader
Department: Trading/Commercial
Reports To: Head of Trading
Summary:
CH-Ryder Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Trader to join our dynamic team. The International Trader will be responsible for executing trading activities, managing international business relationships, and identifying new market opportunities to maximize profitability and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international trade, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced trading environment.
Responsibilities:
- Trading Execution: Execute buy and sell transactions in international markets, ensuring optimal pricing and timely delivery.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and capitalize on profitable trading opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders across various countries.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with counterparties to secure favorable deals and mitigate potential risks.
- Logistics & Supply Chain: Coordinate and oversee the logistics and supply chain processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage trading risks, including price risk, credit risk, and operational risk, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, expand into new markets, and increase the company’s trading volume and profitability.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on trading activities, market conditions, and financial performance to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or a related field.
